Do you know that some species of animals and plants are threatened by international trade? What can you do to help protect these endangered species?
To find out more about endangered species, please visit the Endangered Species Resource Centre which occupies an area of about 160 square meters and is located on the sixth floor of Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department headquarters at Cheung Sha Wan Government Offices.
The Centre was opened in May 2001 to help promote public awareness on endangered species protection. It has some 600 specimens of about 200 endangered species on display, including various kinds of fur skins, leather products, Chinese medicines, plants and live pets, and is composed of 9 theme areas.
